About Giraffe Laugh

For more than 35 years, Giraffe Laugh Early Learning Centers has provided affordable childcare and high-quality early education to more than 300 children across the Treasure Valley each year.

Our mission goes beyond early childhood education. By supporting children and families with the resources and wraparound services they need to thrive, we are working to break generational cycles of poverty and create stronger futures for generations to come.

Our Three Pillars

Ensuring School Readiness

At Giraffe Laugh, we prepare children for kindergarten and for life through research-based, play-centered learning. Using Creative Curriculum, Zoo-phonics, and social-emotional learning programs, children build strong academic, social, and life skills. With qualified teachers and low teacher-to-child ratios, each child receives the support they need to thrive.

Empowering Families

We empower families by partnering with parents throughout their child’s development through parent-teacher conferences, family education resources, workshops, and volunteer opportunities.

By keeping families informed, involved, and connected to their child’s learning, we help strengthen both the child’s development and the family’s sense of belonging.

Building Strong Futures

Every child at Giraffe Laugh gets three healthy meals and snacks each day to keep them full, focused, and ready to learn.

Our community food pantry is available for everyone who needs extra support because helping families thrive goes beyond the classroom.

Our Programs

Giraffe Laugh offers quality child care and early education through:

Four full-time centers serving children ages 0–5 year-round
One preschool-only center for ages 3–5 during the school year, next to Boys and Girls Club of Ada County
Summer program for children through 2nd grade.

We envision a community where all children have equal access to early education, care, and opportunity.
