A clearer online address
ALCO USA has a new primary home online: alcohq.com. The shorter address is easier to remember, easier to share in conversation, and better suited to the way our services have grown. New marketing communications and direct email from Adam Leveille will use the alcohq.com domain as the transition progresses.
The important point is simple: the domain is changing, but the company behind it is not. ALCO USA Inc remains our legal and operating company. ALCO HQ is a registered doing-business-as name used for marketing and our public online identity. It does not represent a sale, merger, ownership change, or separate service provider.
What is changing
Our primary public website is moving from alcousa.org to alcohq.com. New visitors, prospective clients, partners, and search engines will be directed to the new address. We are also moving public-facing email to the alcohq.com domain, beginning with [email protected].
The new domain will become the address we place on marketing materials, social profiles, proposals, and other public communications. The site itself will continue to explain ALCO's managed IT, cybersecurity, DevOps, hosting, application, and advisory services; the move is about making that information easier to find and the company easier to reach.
During the transition, existing alcousa.org links may continue to appear in saved bookmarks, prior emails, published articles, and older documents. Those links will be handled in a controlled way so legitimate traffic reaches the current destination without creating avoidable disruption. Where an operational endpoint requires a staged change, its current address will remain available until the replacement has been tested.
What is not changing
ALCO USA Inc remains the name on our legal agreements, corporate records, and other documents that require the legal entity. Existing contracts, scopes of work, service relationships, and responsibilities are not replaced or amended merely because our public domain changes.
Our ownership, leadership, and service standards are unchanged. Clients will continue working with the same company and the same people. Existing support processes and authorized points of contact remain in place unless a client receives a specific, verified notice stating otherwise.
ALCO HQ is strictly the marketing DBA and public domain. It gives the company a concise identity online while preserving the established ALCO USA Inc legal name where precision matters. Both names refer to the same business; they are not separate vendors that require duplicate onboarding.
How we are handling the transition
A domain change touches more than a home page. Search visibility, email authentication, links, certificates, forms, and protective controls all have to move deliberately. We are treating the change as an infrastructure project rather than a cosmetic rebrand.
The transition work includes
- serving the current site securely at alcohq.com and its standard www address;
- maintaining encrypted connections and modern transport-security settings;
- publishing the records that allow receiving mail systems to validate authorized ALCO HQ messages;
- preserving stable links and redirecting retired public URLs to their intended destinations;
- updating search-engine directives, canonical addresses, and the site map;
- testing public forms, images, feeds, legal pages, and common navigation paths;
- keeping operational migrations separate from the marketing cutover when a rushed change could affect a client workflow.
That last point matters. A clean public transition should not be achieved by breaking an integration, sign-in, or saved service link. We will move each dependency on its own evidence, retain a safe fallback where appropriate, and remove old routes only when the new path has been verified.
How to recognize legitimate ALCO communication
A new domain can create an opportunity for impersonation if people are not told what to expect. Legitimate new messages from Adam will use [email protected]. Our primary public website is https://alcohq.com.
The domain change does not require a client to send us a password, disclose a multi-factor authentication code, install unexpected software, or make an unverified payment. We will not use the transition as a reason to bypass an established approval or payment process. If a message about the change asks for any of those things, do not act on it until you verify the request through a contact method you already trust.
When in doubt, call ALCO at +1 (208) 813-0531 or begin from alcohq.com rather than following an unfamiliar link. Checking the full sender address is also important: a display name that says ALCO is not the same as a message sent from the alcohq.com domain.
What clients and partners should do
No contract or account action is required simply because the public domain has changed. A few small updates will make future communication easier:
- bookmark https://alcohq.com as ALCO's primary website;
- add [email protected] to your trusted contacts;
- update public directories or vendor records that are intended to show our marketing website or general contact domain;
- keep ALCO USA Inc as the legal company name in agreements, tax records, and systems that require the contracted entity;
- verify any unusual request through an established contact before sharing sensitive information or changing payment details.
If your organization maintains an email allowlist, a vendor-management record, or an address book entry for ALCO, your internal administrator may choose to add alcohq.com. There is no need to delete historical alcousa.org references immediately; preserving the old record during the transition can make prior correspondence easier to find.
Why ALCO HQ
The best domains disappear quickly, and a long or easily misunderstood address creates friction every time it is spoken over the phone, entered into a form, or printed on a small piece of material. ALCO HQ is short, pronounceable, and unmistakably connected to the ALCO name. The HQ language also fits the role we often play for clients: one dependable place to coordinate technology operations, engineering, security, and support.
We are not using the new name to make the company sound larger or less personal than it is. The goal is a more professional and practical front door. Behind it is the same company, accountable for the same work.
A better front door, the same responsibility
A domain should make a company easier to reach and easier to verify. It should not make clients relearn the relationship or wonder who is responsible. That is the standard guiding this transition.
ALCO USA Inc remains our legal and operating identity. ALCO HQ is the marketing DBA and the new online home. We will keep the move orderly, protect established workflows, and communicate specific operational changes only when they are ready.
