What is included.
What ALCO does for you under hosted UniFi Network, in plain terms.
One controller, every location
Access points, switches and gateways at all your sites adopt to a controller that lives on the ALCO server, reachable from anywhere.
Backups of the whole configuration
Nightly backups of the controller, so a replaced device comes back with its settings, and a mistake can be undone.
Updates on a schedule
Controller and firmware updates in a window you approve, with the release notes read first.
Watched every minute
Offline devices, failing uplinks and odd traffic show up on our board, not in a complaint.
Guest and staff networks done right
VLANs, guest portals, isolation and the firewall rules that keep the point-of-sale off the guest Wi-Fi.
Installed by us too
ALCO designs, installs and manages UniFi networks across the Treasure Valley. The hosted controller is part of that.
People who answer
"The Wi-Fi is slow in the warehouse." A person looks at the controller and tells you why.
How it works.
Four steps, each one written down as we go.
- 1
Scope
We look at what you run today, how much traffic and data it carries, and who needs access. You get a written plan and price before anything moves.
- 2
Build
We stand up UniFi Network server on the ALCO server, in its own isolated environment, with Cloudflare Enterprise, backups and monitoring wired in from day one.
- 3
Move
Existing data, users and settings are migrated and checked, DNS is switched in a window you approve, and the old system stays available until you sign off.
- 4
Run it
From then on ALCO applies updates, watches the board, restores from backup when asked and answers the calls.
Who this is for.
Businesses that want it run, not just rented
A server somewhere is easy. Someone who updates it, backs it up, watches it and picks up the phone is the part you are buying.
Teams that have outgrown shared hosting
When the shared plan is slow, the control panel is a mystery and support is a chat bot, a managed instance on the ALCO server is the next step.
Anyone who wants their data in one accountable place
Your instance, your data, on infrastructure ALCO owns and operates in Idaho, behind Cloudflare Enterprise.
Questions people ask.
Do we need a Cloud Key or Dream Machine?
No. The hosted controller replaces the Cloud Key for the Network application. Gateways still live on site.
Can we keep our own admin access?
Yes. Your administrators get accounts; ALCO holds a logged admin account for support.
Is this official Ubiquiti hosting?
No. It is the standard self-hosted UniFi Network application, run by ALCO on the ALCO server.
What about UniFi Protect cameras?
Protect needs on-site hardware. We install and manage that too; see managed networking.
- The client area
Everything ALCO does for you, in one place.
Requests, your team, invoices, documents, shared credentials and sign-in security. One sign-in, any device. Take the tour.
