What Cloudflare is.
Cloudflare runs one of the largest networks on the internet. Websites sit behind it so visitors reach a nearby edge first, and attacks are absorbed before they touch the server.
Cloudflare Enterprise is the plan built for businesses that cannot afford to be down: advanced firewall rules, bot management, higher limits and support with teeth.
How it works for us.
- 01
Enterprise for every hosted site
ALCO provides Cloudflare Enterprise for every client website and web application it hosts. You do not buy it separately and you do not need a Cloudflare account; it is part of how we host.
- 02
DNS and certificates
Client domains are served from Cloudflare DNS, with TLS certificates issued and renewed automatically. It is also how our mail authentication records stay right.
- 03
Firewall, DDoS and bots
The web application firewall and bot rules are tuned per site. Scrapers, credential stuffing and floods are stopped at the edge, and the server never sees them.
- 04
Cache and Turnstile
Public pages are cached at the edge so they load fast anywhere. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that never asks a real person to click on traffic lights.
Our role.
What ALCO is to Cloudflare, and what it is not.
- 1
We configure it and watch it
Rules, cache policy, DNS and alerts are ALCO's job. When Cloudflare blocks something it should not have, you call us, not a ticket queue.
- 2
Our own site too
alcohq.com and myALCO run behind the same Cloudflare setup we give clients.
- 3
Customer, not certified partner
ALCO is a Cloudflare customer. We do not claim a Cloudflare partner tier or certification here.
What it means for you.
Enterprise protection at a small-business price
The firewall, DDoS protection and bot defence that big companies pay for separately come with ALCO hosting.
A site that stays up
Traffic spikes, a story going viral or an attack: the edge takes the hit and your site keeps serving.
Fast everywhere
Cached pages are served from the edge nearest the visitor, so a reader in another state or country gets the same quick load.
Questions people ask.
Is Cloudflare Enterprise really included?
Yes. Every client website and web application ALCO hosts is served through Cloudflare Enterprise. It is part of our hosting, not an add-on.
Do we need our own Cloudflare account?
No. ALCO holds the configuration and you get the protection. If you already have a Cloudflare account we can work with it or move the zone across.
Will the cache show visitors an old page?
Public pages are cached for about ten minutes; a change can take that long to reach everyone. Signed-in and dynamic pages are never cached.
Why am I asked to tick a box on your forms?
That is Cloudflare Turnstile checking the request is not a bot. A real person almost never sees more than a small tick.
- The client area
Everything ALCO does for you, in one place.
Requests, your team, invoices, documents, shared credentials and sign-in security. One sign-in, any device. Take the tour.
