What is included.
What ALCO does for you under Magento hosting, in plain terms.
The full stack, set up properly
PHP, MariaDB, Redis for sessions and cache, Varnish for full-page cache, OpenSearch for the catalogue, cron for indexers and emails. Not a shared plan pretending.
Patches and releases
Magento security patches and quarterly releases applied on staging first, with checkout and admin tested, then production in a window you approve.
Cloudflare Enterprise in front
Firewall, bot rules, DDoS protection and edge caching for images and static assets. Customer sessions stay uncached.
Capacity for the season
The server is ours, so we size for your peak, pre-warm caches and keep a plan for the launch or the holiday.
Backups with the catalogue in them
Database and media every night, off the server. Restores on request.
Staging for extensions
Extensions and theme work on a copy, with a test order, before they touch the live store.
Monitoring that watches the queue
Beyond "is it up": indexers, cron, search and the message queue are watched, because that is where Magento stalls.
People who answer
A person who knows what "indexer invalid" means picks up the phone.
How it works.
Four steps, each one written down as we go.
- 1
Scope
We look at what you run today, how much traffic and data it carries, and who needs access. You get a written plan and price before anything moves.
- 2
Build
We stand up Magento on the ALCO server, in its own isolated environment, with Cloudflare Enterprise, backups and monitoring wired in from day one.
- 3
Move
Existing data, users and settings are migrated and checked, DNS is switched in a window you approve, and the old system stays available until you sign off.
- 4
Run it
From then on ALCO applies updates, watches the board, restores from backup when asked and answers the calls.
Who this is for.
Businesses that want it run, not just rented
A server somewhere is easy. Someone who updates it, backs it up, watches it and picks up the phone is the part you are buying.
Teams that have outgrown shared hosting
When the shared plan is slow, the control panel is a mystery and support is a chat bot, a managed instance on the ALCO server is the next step.
Anyone who wants their data in one accountable place
Your instance, your data, on infrastructure ALCO owns and operates in Idaho, behind Cloudflare Enterprise.
Questions people ask.
Open Source or Adobe Commerce?
Both run on the ALCO server. Adobe Commerce licences come from Adobe; we host and run the platform under that licence.
Can you move a store from another host?
Yes. Database, media and configuration are migrated to staging, checked with a test order, then switched in a quiet window.
Is Magento overkill for us?
Sometimes. If a WooCommerce store would do the job for less, we will say so. See WooCommerce hosting.
Do you handle the PCI questionnaire?
Card data is handled by your payment gateway. We keep the platform patched and behind the firewall, and supply what the questionnaire asks about hosting.
- The client area
