What is included.
What ALCO does for you under WooCommerce hosting, in plain terms.
Checkout tested, every time
After every plugin or core update a test order runs through the live checkout. If it fails, the update is rolled back before a customer meets it.
Payments and shipping watched
Stripe, PayPal, tax and shipping plugins are the ones that break quietly. Their webhooks and credentials are monitored, not assumed.
Cache that knows what a cart is
Cloudflare Enterprise caches product pages hard and leaves carts, accounts and checkout alone. Fast for browsers, correct for buyers.
Backups with orders in them
Nightly backups include the database your orders live in, kept off the server. A restore brings back the store and its history.
Sized for the sale
Before a launch or a holiday we check capacity and pre-warm the cache. The server is ours, so there is room.
Staging for the redesign
New theme, new product builder, new payment method: on a copy first, with a test order, then live.
Email that lands
Order confirmations, shipping notices and password resets go out authenticated, so they reach the inbox.
A storefront we have built before
James Duff Inc runs its storefront and a custom manufacturing workspace on ALCO. We know where WooCommerce bends.
People who answer
"A customer says checkout failed." A person looks at the order, the gateway and the logs, and calls them back.
How it works.
Four steps, each one written down as we go.
- 1
Scope
We look at what you run today, how much traffic and data it carries, and who needs access. You get a written plan and price before anything moves.
- 2
Build
We stand up WooCommerce on the ALCO server, in its own isolated environment, with Cloudflare Enterprise, backups and monitoring wired in from day one.
- 3
Move
Existing data, users and settings are migrated and checked, DNS is switched in a window you approve, and the old system stays available until you sign off.
- 4
Run it
From then on ALCO applies updates, watches the board, restores from backup when asked and answers the calls.
Who this is for.
Businesses that want it run, not just rented
A server somewhere is easy. Someone who updates it, backs it up, watches it and picks up the phone is the part you are buying.
Teams that have outgrown shared hosting
When the shared plan is slow, the control panel is a mystery and support is a chat bot, a managed instance on the ALCO server is the next step.
Anyone who wants their data in one accountable place
Your instance, your data, on infrastructure ALCO owns and operates in Idaho, behind Cloudflare Enterprise.
Questions people ask.
Can you move my store without losing orders?
Yes. Orders, customers and products are copied, the store is checked on the ALCO server, and the switch happens in a quiet window with the old store kept until you sign off.
Do you handle PCI?
Card details are handled by your payment provider, not stored on the site. We keep the platform patched, behind the firewall and backed up, and we can supply what your provider's questionnaire asks for.
Will the site stay fast with a big catalogue?
Yes, with proper caching, a tuned database and a server that is not shared with strangers. Large catalogues are planned for, not discovered.
Can you build the store too?
Yes. See the James Duff Inc project, and the developer services page.
