What is included.
What ALCO does for you under WordPress hosting, in plain terms.
Updates by people, not a cron job
Core, themes and plugins are updated on a schedule, then a person checks the pages, forms and checkout. A bad update is rolled back before you hear about it.
Cloudflare Enterprise in front
Web application firewall, bot rules, DDoS protection and an edge cache, tuned for WordPress so logins and carts are never cached by mistake.
A staging copy
Try the new theme, the plugin or the redesign on a copy first. Push it live when it is right.
Nightly backups you can ask for
Files and database every night, kept off the server, with a restore drill on the calendar. "Can you put back yesterday's version?" is a help desk request, not a project.
Tuned PHP and database
Object caching, PHP-FPM sized for the site, a database that is actually maintained. Fast on the first load, not just the cached one.
Email that sends
Form notifications and order emails go out through authenticated mail, not the web server's guess. SPF, DKIM and DMARC are set so they arrive.
Monitoring every minute
The site is checked from outside the network every minute. If it stops answering, we know before your customers tell you.
Headless when you want it
Keep WordPress as the editor and let ALCO build a hand-coded front end on top. See the AI-managed headless CMS.
People who answer
"The site is slow." "A plugin wants paying." "The menu vanished." Your team calls the help desk and a person sorts it out.
How it works.
Four steps, each one written down as we go.
- 1
Scope
We look at what you run today, how much traffic and data it carries, and who needs access. You get a written plan and price before anything moves.
- 2
Build
We stand up WordPress on the ALCO server, in its own isolated environment, with Cloudflare Enterprise, backups and monitoring wired in from day one.
- 3
Move
Existing data, users and settings are migrated and checked, DNS is switched in a window you approve, and the old system stays available until you sign off.
- 4
Run it
From then on ALCO applies updates, watches the board, restores from backup when asked and answers the calls.
Who this is for.
Businesses that want it run, not just rented
A server somewhere is easy. Someone who updates it, backs it up, watches it and picks up the phone is the part you are buying.
Teams that have outgrown shared hosting
When the shared plan is slow, the control panel is a mystery and support is a chat bot, a managed instance on the ALCO server is the next step.
Anyone who wants their data in one accountable place
Your instance, your data, on infrastructure ALCO owns and operates in Idaho, behind Cloudflare Enterprise.
Questions people ask.
Can you move my existing WordPress site?
Yes. We copy the files and database, bring it up on the ALCO server, check it with you, then switch DNS in a window you approve. The old host stays live until you sign off.
Do I keep my admin access?
Yes. It is your site. We hold an administrator account for updates and support, and every change we make is logged.
What about plugins you do not like?
We will tell you if a plugin is abandoned, insecure or slow, and suggest a replacement. We do not remove anything without agreeing it with you.
Is WooCommerce included?
WooCommerce stores get their own page and a few extra checks around checkout and payments. See WooCommerce hosting.
What does it cost?
Managed hosting plans are on the pricing page. A migration is quoted in writing after we see the site.
- The client area
