Passwords kept, shared and never emailed.

1Password is where credentials live at ALCO and for the clients who use it with us. Shared vaults, not spreadsheets, and nothing sensitive in a chat message.

The partner

What 1Password is.

1Password is a password manager for people and teams. Each person has one strong password; everything else is generated, stored and filled for them.

For a business it adds shared vaults, so a team can hold Wi-Fi keys, vendor logins and service accounts without anyone pasting them into an email.

Inside ALCO

How it works for us.

  • 01

    Where ALCO's own credentials live

The logins we hold for our systems sit in 1Password with access per person. Nobody at ALCO keeps a password in a note or a message thread.

  • 02

    Shared vaults with clients

When a client runs 1Password, the credentials we need to support them sit in a vault they own and share with us. They can see what we hold and take it back any time.

  • 03

    Onboarding and offboarding

A new hire gets the vaults their role needs on day one. A leaver loses access the moment they are offboarded, and shared logins get rotated.

Plainly

Our role.

What ALCO is to 1Password, and what it is not.

  1. 1

    Customer and recommender

ALCO uses 1Password and recommends it when a client team needs a password manager. We help set it up and run it as part of the help desk.

  2. 2

    Not a reseller

You buy 1Password from 1Password. We do not resell it or claim a partner tier here.

For clients

What it means for you.

  • One place for every login

Your team stops reusing passwords because they no longer have to remember them.

  • You stay in control

Vaults you share with ALCO are yours. Revoke our access in a click if you ever need to.

  • Pairs with myALCO

Credentials ALCO holds for you can also be viewed in the myALCO vault, with every view logged.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

Do we have to use 1Password to work with ALCO?

No. It is what we recommend, and it makes sharing credentials with us clean, but we work with the tools you have.

Can ALCO see all our passwords?

Only the vaults you choose to share with us. Your personal and private vaults are yours alone.

What if someone leaves our company?

Tell the help desk. Their 1Password access ends, and we rotate any shared logins they could see.
