The partner

What IAMCP is.

The International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) is an independent, member-run association of companies that sell, build on and support Microsoft technology.

Chapters meet locally and online for education, networking and partner-to-partner referrals. It is not Microsoft, and membership is not a Microsoft certification.

Inside ALCO

How it works for us.

  • 01

    A room full of peers

Microsoft 365, Azure and licensing change constantly. IAMCP is where partners compare notes on what changed and what it means for small-business clients.

  • 02

    Referrals both ways

When a client needs a Microsoft specialism we do not carry, we know who does. Other members send work our way for the same reason.

  • 03

    Our Southern California roots

ALCO grew up in the South Bay before moving to Idaho. The Southern California chapter is where Adam's membership sits.

Plainly

Our role.

What ALCO is to IAMCP, and what it is not.

  1. 1

    Member

Adam Leveille is an IAMCP member. ALCO takes part as a member company; we do not hold an office in the association or speak for it.

  2. 2

    Member, not certification

IAMCP membership says we belong to the community of Microsoft partners. It is not a Microsoft competency, tier or award, and we do not present it as one.

For clients

What it means for you.

  • Microsoft advice with context

Licensing and product decisions are made with what a community of partners is seeing, not just a vendor datasheet.

  • Reach beyond our own bench

A need we cannot meet ourselves gets a trusted referral rather than a guess.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

Is IAMCP part of Microsoft?

No. It is an independent association of Microsoft partners. Microsoft takes part in events but does not run it.

Does membership mean ALCO is Microsoft certified?

No. It means we belong to the partner community. Certifications are earned separately and we only list the ones we hold.

Why a Southern California chapter for an Idaho company?

Because that is where ALCO started. We keep those ties and still serve clients there.
