System mail that reaches the inbox.

Mailgun delivers the automated email behind myALCO and the sites we build: sign-in codes, notifications and notices. Messages from our team still come from a person's mailbox.

The partner

What Mailgun is.

Mailgun is an email delivery service for software. An application hands it a message and Mailgun gets it delivered, with reputation, authentication and logs handled.

It exists because mail sent straight from a web server tends to land in spam. A dedicated sender with a clean record does not.

Inside ALCO

How it works for us.

  • 01

    myALCO system mail

Sign-in codes, request notifications and account notices from myALCO go out through Mailgun from an ALCO domain that is fully authenticated.

  • 02

    Client sites and apps

Contact-form receipts, order confirmations and account emails from the sites we build are sent the same way, from the client's own domain.

  • 03

    People still write to people

Replies from our help desk come from a person's mailbox, not a sending service. Mailgun carries what a machine sends; it never speaks for a human.

Plainly

Our role.

What ALCO is to Mailgun, and what it is not.

  1. 1

    Developer and customer

ALCO builds on Mailgun's API and administers the domains that send through it. We claim no Mailgun partner tier or certification.

  2. 2

    Deliverability is our job

Authentication records, bounce handling and the sending reputation of every domain we manage are watched by ALCO.

For clients

What it means for you.

  • Codes and notices that arrive

A sign-in code that lands in spam is a locked door. Ours arrive.

  • Your domain, your reputation, protected

Automated mail from your site is authenticated as yours and kept off blocklists.

  • A log when it matters

If a customer says they never got the email, we can see exactly what happened to it.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

Will my team's normal email go through Mailgun?

No. Your mailboxes stay in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Mailgun only carries automated mail from applications.

Can our website send receipts from our own domain?

Yes. We set the domain up with SPF, DKIM and DMARC so the mail is authenticated as yours.

What if a message bounces?

Mailgun reports it back to us. We see the reason and fix the address or the record behind it.
