What Splashtop is.
Splashtop is remote access software. A technician sees and controls a computer from somewhere else, over an encrypted connection.
Attended support is its everyday use: a person asks for help, a technician connects, and both can see the same screen.
How it works for us.
- 01
Help desk fixes
When a call needs hands on the machine, the technician connects with Splashtop while you watch. Most problems are solved in that session.
- 02
Servers and agreed devices
For servers and devices a client has asked us to manage unattended, Splashtop gives secure access for maintenance outside your hours.
- 03
Always alongside a person
A remote session is started by a technician who is talking to you or working a ticket you raised. Nothing connects on its own.
Our role.
What ALCO is to Splashtop, and what it is not.
- 1
Customer and operator
ALCO is a Splashtop customer and runs the account its technicians use. We claim no partner tier or certification.
- 2
Accountable for every session
Sessions are tied to a technician and a ticket, and the work done is written up in myALCO.
What it means for you.
Help without a visit
Most fixes happen in minutes, from the first call, without waiting for someone to drive over.
Nothing hidden
You see the technician's cursor and can take back control or end the session whenever you like.
Works from anywhere
Office, home or on the road, the help desk can reach your company laptop.
Questions people ask.
Can ALCO connect to my computer any time?
Attended sessions need you to be there. Unattended access is only set up on servers and devices you have agreed to in writing.
Is the connection secure?
Sessions are encrypted end to end and tied to a named technician. We do not share accounts.
Can I end a session?
Yes, at any moment, from your own screen.
- The client area
Everything ALCO does for you, in one place.
Requests, your team, invoices, documents, shared credentials and sign-in security. One sign-in, any device. Take the tour.
