The plan is built so you should not. Mail is copied ahead of time, synced again at cutover, and both systems receive until the switch is confirmed. Every migration ends with a reconciliation count, any exceptions are listed in writing, and the old system is kept for an agreed retention period so anything missed can be recovered.

A small business mail and file move is typically a few weeks from first call to cutover, most of it background copying. Servers and applications depend on their vendors, and we tell you that up front.

No. Vaults are encrypted by the apps with your master password before they reach the server. ALCO runs the server and holds encrypted backups.

Many clients do, and ALCO is a 1Password partner. Vaultwarden is for organisations that want the vault on their own infrastructure or need to control the cost per seat.

The apps keep a local copy of the vault, so you can still read passwords. We monitor it every minute and fix it.

Many teams are fine there. Self-managed GitLab is for code that must stay on your own infrastructure, or for CI that needs to reach internal systems.
